My Philosophy

My philosophy is basically there is a reason for everything.  Whether it's good or bad, it happens because of something else.  Everything that happens and will happen is meant to happen for our benefit.  It may not be a physical benefit, perhaps a psychological benefit, or to help you benefit others.  Most of the time, things you want won't fall into your lap though.  It takes work, and eventually, that work will pay off.  You can't wait for somebody else to do whatever it is for you, you must take initiative.  If something bad happens, then it happened to teach a lesson, and you must work to fix whatever may have happened, or you must move on.  A wise man once said, "Nothing happens by accident.  Coincidences are a lie."  We must accept this and learn to live on, roll with the punches.  "It's not about how hard you can hit, it's about how hard you can get hit" -- Rocky Balboa.  I apply this philosophy to life.  You can't control the universe. The universe controls you, and we must take the hit.  In other words, to be terse I'm trying to say to keep on keepin' on.

Pool Party

The arbiter sent him to jail.  This was not an impromptu crime.  The prodigious levees that protect the Missouri lowlands on this particular day were not large enough to hold back the flood.  The pragmatic solution to this problem is to stack sandbags until the barrier is repleted with structure.  Some water usually permeates through the sandbags, but not enough to flood a state.  However Mr. Scott sabotaged the copious barrier by removing the sandbags, allowing the water to burgeon throughout capacious the Missouri lowlands.  The candor Scott said "I only wanted to have a pool party."

The Youth Group Ski Trip

Definitely my favorite thing to do in the wintertime is snowski.  I love to do anything in the snow but skiing is the best.  Every year my church's youth group goes on a ski trip to Snowshoe West Virginia.  If the snow doesn't find us, we go find the snow.  I started skiing when I was about 8 years old out in Vail Colorado.  It was the most fun I'd ever had.  A few years later, I tried snowboarding.  Bad idea.  I faceboarded and got all soggy so I went back to skiing.  I don't fall as much when I ski so its more fun to me.  The hardest part about skiing is dropping over the lip of the slope.  When you pull up to the edge, it looks really steep and scary, but once you get started, you're extremely sad when you finish and run out of mountain. 

Random thoughts

Today I'm just gonna write about whatever pops into my head.

Tonight is a varsity football game at Winder-Barrow High School.  I play the trombone in the marching band.  I play bass trombone in everything else.  Tomorrow is the South Carolina vs. Georgia football game!  I miss UGA's last football game because I was rafting the Ocoee River.  Before I went rafting though, I played paintball.  Paintball is definitely my most favorite hobby.  When we played "Iron Man" rules, it's basically light up each other until you run out of ammo (or give up like the panzies who can't take the pain).  I don't have enough money to play on an actual team or buy my own paintball gun, so I can only play occasionally.  After we had welts all over our body, we went rafting.  We had an absolutely insane guide when we went down the river.  He has his own move he made up that he does on the river.  We pulled up next to a cliff.  He jumps out of the raft, runs up the cliff, and back down into our raft.  He calls it the "Spider-man". 

The SuperRedneck

The assidious SuperRedneck.  This ememplary and intrepid individual's tenacity is the reason he spends his day driving around in his '87 Super Chevy Silverado with its 24 inch lift and 60 inch mudders.  SuperRedneck works day and night to do his best to mitigate the evils coused by his arch nemises HipHop, Spinners, BeatBox and CityBoy.  These are his adamant enemies.  Our news reporters stubbornly learned all this information from SuperRednech himself.  Being very fastidious, they learned his favorite crime fightin' move: a combo of the DipSpit and the AntlerGore.  Later the police must be very emollient in their efforts to calm his fallen opponents.  His punctilious sidekick Bubba, stays out at the chikenhouse auspiciously determining where BeatBox will strike next

Ninja Nanny

There was nothing insipid about this incident.  Killing your boyfriend is certainly superflous, but at 71!  Having a boyfriend at 71 is definitly not propriety.  Still, shooting someone for relationship reasons is very egregious.  Wryly I joked back at the station, "She had to leave her sonorous walker at home and crawl to his house."  This was very pander and rude, but the guys down in the K-9 unit got a kick out of it.  Still, that one facetious guy Robbie, went and told CNN and the story became more and more garrulous. New Versailles will never, ever hear  the end of this one.

Luke Skywalker- Jedi master and father of Ben Skywalker and twin brother of Leia Solo
Ben Skywalker- Jedi son of Luke Skywalker who is looking for answers about who killed his mother, Mara Jade Skywalker.
Boba Fett- Mandalorian bounty hunter
Gilad Pellaeon- Imperial remnant admiral
Tahiri Veila- Jedi Galactic Alliance lieutenant
Cha Nathial- Joint Chief of State of the Galactic Alliance
Lon Shevu- Galactic Alliance Guard 967 commando who helps Ben in his investigation.

Plot:
Jacen Solo is taking over the galaxy using the Galactic Alliance.  Jaina is seeking out Boba Fett to get him to train her to hunt jedi and eventually overthrow Jacen.  Ben Skywalker is on Corascant with Lon Shevu to find answers on who killed his mother.   Jacen is also dealing with Admiral Pellaeon to gain an alliance with the Imperial remnant.

Conflict:
Everyone is worried about the threat of Jacen Solo becoming to powerful.  Jaina plans to overthrow him and Ben is looking for answers on who killed his mother which seem to all point to Jacen.

Setting:
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, 40 years after Star Wars, A New Hope.
